If you’ve got a few hundred hours that you may need to fill with some audio visual entertainment, head to the ZX Spectrum Games library and discover just how comically difficult video games were in the 1980’s. Primitive and clunky they may be, but old Spectrum games provide the kind of brutal, uncaring challenge that could only have been the product of the Thatcher years.
